The main aim of this program is to address the difficulties facing our various rural community when it comes to development project with appropriate tools.
Due to lack of tangible economic activities .our innovative social enterprise model could enable potential partners to join our rural development and expansion project through Agriculture Arts and Social Enterprise.
Our project should assists local participating Farmers and Artist to provide a more sustainable food sources for their children and in some cases able to facilitate a better market source leading to a healthier level of income artist and farmers could sell their products to local ,national or international visitors who could find a reason to visit the farm as a destination point.
NB While previous agricultural experience is not a prerequisite for participating in this project , the more experience you have, the more you will be able to assist with developing the program and teaching techniques to local participants . It is also important to note that resources and machinery are extremely limited and most work is very labour intensive. You can and are encouraged to work at your own comfortable pace

Volunteers are accommodated on the Wumenu community farm
Your fees will support, food and board. It is exciting to stay with local Ghanaians; that way you will learn the Ghanaian way of life, meet local people, eat local food, speak the local language and engage in local customs and traditions.
Living on the farm is basic
we have no electricity or running water
Volunteers can expect to share a room with one or two other volunteers.
We have a cook who prepares meals. Ghanaian food is tasty, diverse and volunteers can expect to experience a myriad of flavors and meals during their Ghanaian experience.
If volunteers wish to eat out, there are a large numbers of restaurants and diners 8 miles away stating fro coca cola junction, to suit all tastes and budgets. If you have special eating needs, please let us know ahead of time so that we can make arrangements for you.
However, we need to stress the point that you should not expect to eat as you normally do at home.
We will do our best to see that you are well taken care of, but also as a volunteer, there is a need to be flexible.
